Asha Philip, Desiree Henry, Dina Asher-Smith and Daryl Neita broke the British record in the 4x100m relay with 41.81. There were also PB’s for a number of British athletes. Katarina Johnson-Thompson was 3rd in the high jump with 1.98m. Jake Wightman took 4th in the Emsley Carr mile in 3:54.20. Eilish McColgan came 7th in the 1500 metres with 4:03.74. Charlie Grice took 9th in the 800 metres in 1:45.53. Jess Ennis ran her second best time ever, 12.76, qualifying for the 100 metres hurdles final.
