It was the lowest scoring Kentucky-Louisville game since 1922. Kentucky coach Calipari said his team got, “a punch in the mouth.” It was always going to be a harsh loss for either team to lose it’s unbeaten record to their biggest rival. Louisville had Kentucky holding on towards the end of the game. Kentucky led by four points at halftime, and there were two points in it with eight minutes left. There is always a sense of drama when these two giants meet.
