D Day For Mo


After a training session at altitude today in Font Romeu, France, Mo Farah will decide if he is fit enough to compete in the Commonwealth Games and this weekend’s London Anniversary Games.

Update: Mo confirms that he will be doing the Commonwealth Games, but has withdrawn from the 2 miles at Sunday’s London Anniversary Games to focus on training.

Farah Back On Track

Mo Portland[1]

Mo Farah did his first track race since last summer’s Moscow World Championships, getting an impressive 53 second last lap win in the Portland Track Festival 5000 metres, with a 13:23.42. Mo said, “It’s good to be back on the track. Training has been going well, so I was confident in myself.” Mo’s next race is the Glasgow Diamond League on July 12.

Mo Goes For Commonwealth Double


Mo Farah, double Olympic and World 5000 and 10000 metres champion, will go for the triple double in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The 5000 metres is on the opening day of athletics and the 10000 metres comes five days later. Both are straight finals.
