Miracle in Black Hills After Teammate McSpadden Is Killed By Lightening Strike

Against all the odds Black Hills qualified for their first NCAA cross country Championships (division II), becoming the first Black Hills team ever to compete at the NCAA. They finished above their ranking of 22nd in 14th, with Alec Baldwin getting All-American in 9th.
