In the Diamond League 10000 metres Mo Farah finished four seconds outside his British and European record set here in 2011. Mo’s Nike Oregon Project teammate Cam Levins set a Canadian record of 27:07.51 in fourth.

17 year-old Ethiopian Yomif Kejelcha was a shock winner of the 5000 metres in 13:10.54, as Mo’s training partner Galen Rupp took third in 13:12.36. Bernard Lagat continues to rewrite the Masters World records as he got fourth in 13:14.97
