Lee Emanuel finally got a major championship medal after always being on the fringes, with a silver in the 3000 metres. going fourth on the British indoor all-time list with 7:44.48. Seren Bundy-Davies got a 400 metres bronze on her international debut and felt she could have done better. Dina Asher-Smith got a British record equalling silver in the 60 metres, with 7.08, and was leading champion Dafne Schippers for most of the race. Chris O’Hare snatched a bronze medal in the 1500 metres, just as he did in the Commonwealth Games. Charlie Grice got a PB 3:39 in fifth, just missing the medals after getting blocked on the last lap. World indoor champion Richard Kilty was back to his best, after an indifferent outdoor season, winning the 60 metres, following CJ Ujah’s disqualification for a false start. Kelly Massey, Seren Bundy-Davies, Laura Maddox and Kirsten McAslan got silver in the 4×400 metres relay to finish one of the best ever EIAC for Team GB.
