The men’s 4 x 100 metres relay took silver as Usain Bolt anchored Jamaica to a Games record. Jo Pavey gave up track for the roads, then came back to it for the London 2012 Olympics. After taking 2013 off to have another baby, she has won a 5000 metres bronze medal at the age of 40! Sally Scott also took bronze in the pole vault, and there was bronze for both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 metres women’s relay teams. What a games for Jodie Williams, adding a relay bronze to her individual 200 silver and Adam Gemili adding relay siver to his 100 silver.
